Cleaning costs — guidance, not a quote

Cleaning is priced once the rooms, condition and frequency are known. These factors move the cost up or down.

What drives the cost

  • Type of job: a regular domestic clean, a deep clean, an end-of-tenancy clean or a spring clean.
  • Size of the property and how many rooms, bathrooms and kitchens are included.
  • Condition: built-up grease, limescale and clutter all add time.
  • Whether insides of ovens, fridges or cupboards are included.
  • Access: parking, stairs and entry arrangements.
  • Products: your supplies or the cleaner’s.

Insurance notes

House cleaning is rarely an insurance claim on its own. If cleaning follows a covered event such as a leak, photograph the property and keep receipts. Cover depends on your policy.

Why there is no price list here

Two homes of the same size can need very different time once condition and access are checked, so any fixed price would be guesswork. Official consumer and tenancy guidance is linked below.
